Eric Gill joined the Point S network of owners in 2000 when he started Gills Point S with the first two service centers in The Dalles, OR, and Hood River, OR areas. From those small town roots in Oregon, Gills Point S Tire & Auto Service has grown into one of the largest independent tire retailers in the United States. But don't let our size fool you. Our mission is simple: to provide our customers with the most convenient, stress-free tire and auto care experience possible. We are part of the Point S co-op which allows us to share in the benefits of a cooperative of other independently owned service centers so that we can offer our customers competitive pricing and a promise of security and safety while traveling across the country. What does Point S stand for? It means Point of Service – Point S USA was founded in Portland OR in 1983 and has expanded into a co-op of over 400+ independent tire & auto service providers across the United States. Gills Point S is the largest owner of Point S Tire stores in the nation. Our warranty is good at ALL Point S locations – giving our customers national coverage on their tires.
