General job duties include:

  • Performs general accounting functions including AP and AR
  • Performs clerical and bookkeeping tasks and maintains financial records and related correspondence.
  • Maintain financial data in QuickBooks and on POS system
  • Performs monthly reconciliation of bank accounts and enters disbursements, receipts, and sales in proper journals
  • Verifies journal balances and makes necessary corrections
  • Works with other key staff in the completion of accounting reconciliation duties and revisions

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Accounting certification preferred
  • 3 plus years experience with similar duties as outlined above
  • Basic general office and accounting principles, procedures and practices required
  • Must be comfortable with computer programs
  • High attention to detail and accuracy is essential to this position
  • Good communication, positive attitude and ability to work well with a team required
